October 1992 the Director-General of UMZ is Y. Alekseev. December 1992 Pavlogradsky mechanical plant started trial operation of AVE-250S windmill. January 1992 produced the first experimental UMZ T-2 trolley. May 18, 1993 signed a joint order between UMZ and Yuzhnoe to establish a booster module 11S851 and modified launcher «Zenit». January 25, 1994 RN «Cyclone-3» successfully launched into orbit «Meteor-3», which is implemented three programs simultaneously. 2 March, 1994 RN «Cyclone-3» successfully launched into orbit AUOS-SM-KI. 1995, USA, Russia, Ukraine and Norway have signed a contract to manufacture and launch of Space Launch Vehicle «Zenit» program for «Sea Launch». 1995 carried out a successful launch from an offshore platform in the Pacific missile «Zenit-3SL» with American satellites on board. 2000, launched from Baikonur «Zenit» with the Russian spacecraft «Yenisei». Sure Start of launcher «Dnipro» with 5-th foreign satellites on board. 9 September, 2000 published a decree of Cabinet of Ministers «On attribution UMZ with named after A. Makarov». 2002 began manufacturing a new generation of satellites - microsatellites. Y. Alekseev was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine, awarded the Medal for valor, the Medal of Yuri Gagarin, medal «For merits III degree». In 2003, Y. Alekseev has been awarded the Hero of Ukraine.
