Space
vehicle (S.V.) "ocean - O" is
intended for remote Earth sounding in the structure of
natural environment monitoring and ecological control
systems.
There is a large complex of the
equipment established on a S.V. "ocean - O"
which allows to make researches either water surface: to
look after movement of fish jambs, to measure ice
thickness, to receive the information about river
floods, to estimate temperature and waves height in
various areas of world ocean; or terrestrial surface: to
make high resolution cartographical filming of spreading
surface, to estimate a crop maturing degree, soil
erosion, square of a drought areas, scales and
distribution ecological technical
accidents.
